1843 magazine app good for

Quirky because it defies categorization, covering a wide range of interesting topics. Excellent because the quality of the writing is up to the usual Economist standard. And the price is hard to beat.

High quality writing, always thought provoking - one of the best cultural publications out there.

I was a regular reader of Intelligent Life, but this 1st issue of 1843 was amazing. Well edited, interesting articles and straight to the "point". I recommend it!

One of the best culture magazines Ive ever read. The app is fluid and works perfectly.

Contacted the help section of IE. They had to switch some technical platform suddenly and as a by-product they lost all the old issues. They reconstruct them now. The magazines themselves are very good and considering that the digital version is free is very generous of a bank sponsoring it.

The relaunched spin-off has shrunk a bit in scope and I miss some columnists. But the contents have kept high standard.

Some bad moments

I cannot dowload the magaines after the latest sofware update! :( :(

I get error message every time I try to download an issue. Looking forward to the fix

By downloading new app, previous library (issues downloaded prior to Aug 15, 2015) can not been restored...

Im very sad that the old issues are gone. Please bring them back. I threw away all my hard copies because I had this app.

where are the old issues? deleted without warning! incredible. this is a downgrade.

I am really disapointed that this app is not going to run on my existing device. Thanks anyways.
